Prophet Muhammad’s final sermon was delivered during the Hajj of the year 632 C.E., the ninth day of Duh ul Hijjah, the 12th month of the lunar year, at Arafat, the most blessed day of the year.
There were endless Muslims present with the Prophet during his last pilgrimage when he delivered his last Sermon. Subsequent to lauding, and saying thanks to God, the Prophet, may God send His praises upon him said: “O People, loan me a careful ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am expressing to you intentionally and take these words to those who could not be present here today”.
1. EVERY HUMAN BEING IS EQUAL
Perhaps the most vital element for which the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is known is the message of general equity about which He told that all the humans are created from Adam and Eve, therefore, no one is greater or superior to any other human being whether it is on the base of race or color except Taqwa.

Prophet (P.B.U.H) told the people clearly that if on the Day of Judgment you come with the wrong deeds instead of good deeds then I cannot help you.

4. PROTECTION OF PROPERTY OF OTHERS
Prophet (PBUH) also spoke about keeping the trust of people. He told that if someone entrusts a person with some kind of goods then he or she should give back the products to the legitimate proprietor and fulfill the trust.
5. FREEDOM TO FELLOW HUMANS
Every Muslim is a brother to other Muslim and the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be authentic to a Muslim which has a place with a kindred Muslim until that Muslim willingly gives it to his Muslim brother. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.
6. FAVORS FOR SLAVES
Prophet (P.B.U.H) asked people to give the same food to their slaves as they themselves eat and their slaves/servants should also get the same clothes as their master.
7. ABANDONED BEFORE HIM
Prophet (P.B.U.H) ordered to cut off all the duties and jobs performed before except maintaining the House of Allah (bait-ul-Allah) and serving water to the people performing hajj. Except those acts all the other acts were told not to perform anymore.
8. INTEREST FORBIDDEN
He, Prophet (P.B.U.H) forbade to take interest and said that any dues that are on the basis of interest are waived off from them and the only thing that remains is the actual amount of money that they gave. And he erased the interest of his family, Abbas bin Abdul Mutlib leaves all the interest that people have to pay him.
9. RULES FOR INHERITANCE
Allah has set the share for every heir in the heritance. Now the will should not be made according to own wishes.
10. FIRMLY HOLD THE ROPE OF ALLAH
Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) advised the people to firmly hold Quran and Sunnah. He guaranteed that the one who holds firmly these two things will never be lost and will be on the right path.
