Mohatta palace is one of the most enticing places you can visit. This place was built by Shivratan Chandraratan Mohatta. While, Agha Ahmed Hussain architect this place, which still gives goosebump when you see it. Fatima Jinnah moved into Mohatta Place in the year 1964. It is also known as Qasre-e-Fatima.

An eye-candy view of Indo-Pak Prade on Independence day, When people of Pakistan will chant “Pakistan Zindabad” in front of Indian crowd, the energy, the enthusiasm and the patriotism all of this you will feel when you visit this place.
Minar-e-Pakistan was constructed in the 1960s. It is the symbol of freedom for Pakistan. It took eight years to complete. The height of its minar is approx. 92 meters. The Park give an another feel of enthusiasm. Yet, the government has organized many patriotic shows over there.
3. Pak Tea House
Pak Tea house is also known as the hometown of intellectual Pakistanis. It is the place where notable writers and intellectual people of Pakistan used to meet and generate creative ideas. It was founded in 1940 by a Sikh family.

This is also a great site for you to visit on 14th August. Lok Virsa Museum showcases the cultural heritage of Pakistan. It shows the living style of many different areas within Pakistan are being showcased here in statues, photos, music and textile work.
Koh is a site situated on the Margalla hills. Daman e Koh is one of the cherishing sites to visit. While visiting Daman-e-Koh, the whole Islamabad city can easily be seen. While visiting this site, you will see many Restaurants and Cafe which will be giving special discounts on 14th of august. The eye gazing spot to visit on Daman-e-Koh is Pir-sohawa.
