Khumariyaan Band is based in Peshawar, Pakistan. This band consists of four cool dudes! Sparlay Rawail, who plays Ghungru, Dhool and Spanish guitar and holds a degree in Architecture from National College of Arts. Farhan Bogra is a master of Rubab and Peshawari Sehtar and is ethnic panjadar sandals, designer. Shiraz Khan, who plays a native Pashtun instrument, zeer baghali and he holds two Masters degrees and he is also the youngest entrepreneur of Khyber Pakhtoon Khuwan. And Aamer Shafiq, who plays rhythm guitar and has two Masters degrees as well as he has been a banker for 5 years.
The basic idea of making music for them is to revive the tradition of Pakistan. The culture of Pakistan is very rich, in terms of History and Art. Pakistani music has its own taste and feels which touch the heart of soul of its listeners. Especially, Pashtun music has caught the attention after its unique beats and versatile style of music.
Khumariyaan Band is mixing two different cultures at one place.
