Gathering TOP TEN SONGS at one place is a tough job done!
Being an amateur vocalist and Music lover it was a tough task for me to choose the ten best songs from my favorite music playlist. I can name tons of songs, new or old, but i had restricted myself just to produce this article for the sake of exhibition of the top best songs that are currently residing in my Playlist these days.
These are my top ten picks for this month, hope you will enjoy and move your body while listening to these tracks!
10. Lukas Graham – 7 Years
Powerful lyrics, melodious voice and catchy tune, when you sum up these three things, this song pops up in my mind. The lyrics are very near to the reality, and that’s exactly what is happening for ages. This song is a perfect example of how one should make a song. Musicians these days are solely focusing on commercial music, which hardly lasts for like a week or so. This song is something that lives for more than a decade.
9. Sia – Cheap Thrills
How anyone can hate SIA? She is more than perfect! For your info, before choosing singing as her lead, she used to write and compose songs for many other eminent singers such as Lady Gaga, etc. The thing I adore about SIA, is that she is REAL! anyone can recognize her voice in a crowd of millions. SIA has showcased her talent very beautifully which resulted in a huge fan following and greater amount of quality music in a short span of time. She has gained the popularity which most of the artists have failed to reach that level.
8. Mike Poster – Took a Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix)
This is my JAM! my day starts with this, and ends with it!
The lyrics are kinda swag, but i liked the technique seeb, the remixer has used in this track. Usually, remixes are full of noise and faster tempos. But in this track Seeb integrated Lounge genre into Progressive house, which isn’t that easy. This is something that Kygo does in every song that he produces. I would like to hear seeb’s remix of a track produced by kygo. Which track it should be ?
7. Zara Larsson – Lush Life
She is just 18, and a combo of Adele and Rihanna. Seriously!
When i first listened to her, I was like, why Adele is singing in Rihanna’s voice! Okay, that was a pun! back to the point. So, first of all, THIS MUSIC VIDEO IS BEST! loved the art and the PAL video style they used for an euro track. Zara did a beautiful job with this track, the pronunciation she used, has matched perfectly with the feel she created. She has a great future ahead.
6. Coldplay – Up & Up
Oh Boy! Coldplay is the Beatles of my era. I don’t think that Coldplay will ever have any band standing as their rival. Coldplay recently came up with their new album, and it was a BOMB! When i bought their album, i had gone though all of the songs in their album and here are some tracks that i adored, Everyglow, Hymn for the weekend, Birds and a track with Tove Lo. And yes, this music video reminds me of Inception movie.
5. The Chainsmokers Featuring Daya – Dont Let Me Down
EDM. This is how an EDM track should be. It won’t be wrong if i declare this song as the best song for the workout session. Daya, yet another teenager with a bright future has stepped into the industry. She had also sung “Hide Away” which had gotten over half a billion clicks on YouTube and still going strong.
4. Alan Walker – Faded
Another EDM track, beautifully produced. Most of the people on the internet are asking that who is that girl on the vocals, so the answer is here. She is Iselin Solheim. Another upbeat track with beautiful side chaining that will make you dance, no matter where you are!
3. Fifth Harmony – Write On Me
After spice girls, i was unable to find a girl band that can fill the gap of the Spice Girls. Then i accidentally clicked this song on YouTube, and i was hooked! listen to it numerous times. This song is indeed something.
2. Adele – Send My Love
Adele oh Adele! the one who never disappoints. After “HELLO” she came up with “When we were young” and then this “Send my love“. Her song titles look like a transformation from stranger’s Hello to Sending love to her lover, who used to be a stranger. The beautiful catchy beat makes us forget her weird dance moves, probably Drake choreographed it *Burp* Anyhow, I LOVE THIS TRACK!
1. Gnash Featuring. Olivia o-Brien – I Hate U, I Love U
This song is the best portrayal of what a powerful melody can do. We usually listen to the songs which are noisy and filled with so many instruments and that irks your head after a few days. This song has a Piano, a rapper, a vocalist and a powerful melody. THIS IS JUST BEAUTIFUL!
If you are a Musician and can sing, then there is 99% chance that your Song can make it to this list!
